This small self introduced bird, is now commonly found throughout New Zealand. A small pretty olive green bird with a ring of white feathers around the eye.
Drawn with Staedler Ink pencil with a watercolour wash, the inspiration for this drawing comes from an original photograph taken by the artist at Zealandia (an ecosanctuary in the heart of Wellington).
